Collage:

Crocheted Rings a.k.a. “Crings”
Intermediate Class.  Learn to make crochet rings and earrings.  It’s not as hard as you think!  Create a set in class to take home.

Crocheted Monster Hat
Intermediate Class.  Learn to crochet an ear flap hat that can be dressed up to be an alien or a creature from your imagination.  Can be made in all sizes, ranging from newborn to adult.  You will also be provided with the pattern to take home with you!
Please bring 1 skein #4 acrylic yarn and hooks in sizes I, J, K

Fabric Rosettes
Create beautiful fabric rosettes that can be used to accent hair clips, headbands, wreathes, picture frames…the sky’s the limit!  Students will learn the basic skills for rosette making and create at least 6 rosettes during class time.

Painting:
Distressing with Caromal Colours
Learn how to create a distressed finish on furniture, cabinets, etc. with no sanding, stripping or priming! This 3 hour workshop will cover the use of the Caromal Colours Line from a company specialist.  Three sample pieces on molding will be completed in your choice of colors to take home.

Gilding Techniques
Add a glitz finish to furniture, cabinetry, home accessories.
This 2 hour workshop will teach a “foolproof” method of gilding; a traditional technique of applying thin layers of gold, silver, copper metals to a painted surface.  Come and learn this process with a piece to gild and take home.  These fabulous products bond to virtually any surface with no sanding, stripping, or priming.  All materials and instructions are provided.

Painting with Modern Masters Metal Effects Paint
This line of paint is designed to create a variety of beautiful oxidized metal finishes on any paintable surface.  You will learn the different effects of each paint and create your own

Precious Metal Clay:
Intro to Precious Metal Clay.  Be inspired by the magic of Precious Metal Clay, an amazing product from Mitsubishi that starts as clay and is magically transformed into copper.  PMC can be formed into jewelry, sculpture or embellishments, fired in a kiln, or torch fired and finished as beautiful copper.
This 4 ½ hour workshop will allow the student to complete one or two pieces of jewelry or sculpture, using 2 different forms of PMC.
